The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
● Create and execute paid advertisements for search, display, mobile, email and social media channels to promote Cru content, events, products and brands.
● Collaborate with Digital Products and Services (DPS) team members to understand stakeholders, business objectives, products, audience, and to develop digital marketing strategies.
● Collaborate with outside DPS stakeholders and/or DPS Marketing/Communications teams to identify opportunities (ie. cross-promotion, relevant content that may apply at different touch points in the user journey, leveraging skills, platforms, creative and content, etc.), ensuring consistent brand messaging.
● Analyze and synthesize data collected from customer analytic research tools to develop a segmentation model enabling personalization and effective marketing across all digital channels.
● Research digital platforms (websites, mobile/social applications, software, etc.) the organization can utilize to grow audience relationships and improve marketing effectiveness and efficiencies.
● Identify trends, insights, essential Audiences and Customer Journeys to optimize spend, performance, and user experience; this may include studying user data and responses to provide input in customer segmentation initiatives or in creating content and opportunities.
● Present campaign performance across all channels and platforms to stakeholders (other Cru ministries, Cru departments, and DPS team members); including comparing business results against marketing plan and advising them on areas of improvement. (Stakeholders may be: Unto, FamilyLife, GodTools, JFP, AIA, etc.)
● Represent the Advertising team in stakeholder meetings, acting as a consultant to give marketing help and strategy input to audience-driven agile marketing teams throughout the ministry.
● May also provide coaching and guidance to other marketing staff. Demonstrate and model personal spiritual discipline and assist in development of an environment on the team where individual team members grow in their own Christian walks.
● Travel within the United States and potentially internationally.
Education and/or Experience:
● 4 year degree in Marketing, Advertising or other related field and 3 years minimum experience in paid digital media or combination of education and experience.
● Preferred experience in Adobe Marketing Suite, Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Suite, CRM, SEO/SEM.
