Job Description:
At GCS we seek to save our customers thousands of dollars on their IT spend to repurpose for other IT initiatives they may have.
We focus on
bringing efficiency to our customers through third-party maintenance, IT Asset Management Software as a Service (ITAM - SaaS), and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services. We also offer hardware and software solutions
like most traditional MSPs or VARs but we differentiate ourselves as a stocking vendor and we sell refurbished and OEM recertified in addition to new products.
The Account Manager will work with the EVP, Sales Development Reps, Sales Engineer, Network Services Sales Manager, Marketing Team, and Partner/Distributor Reps on a day-to-day basis to ensure that client needs are being met.
The Account Manager will prospect strategically as well as take warm leads and appointments set by SDRs to help drive new business into the pipeline.
You will be developing relationships across SMB and Enterprise accounts speaking with all levels of the IT department.
The goal of the account manager is to drive as much margin as possible toward their assigned quota.
● Grow existing accounts across the entire solution stack. Hardware & Software Sales & Service, Network Services, Third-Party Maintenance, COL ITAD, and other services.
● Manage renewals for TPM & Network Services.
● Assess customer needs, determine product fit, quote pricing, and
follow-through delivery.
● Record all activity in CRM to company standards.
● Work with the SDR team in strategizing how to target potential clients
through call lists, email campaigns, social, etc.
● Attend all company meetings, partake in and generate outside
engagement.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
● Bachelor’s degree or similar job-related experience
● 2-3 years of sales experience or degree from a professional selling program with internship experience.
● Ability to display an understanding of the GCS value proposition
● Interpersonal communication skills
● Cold calling/prospecting experience
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Looking for long-term employment
● A sense of urgency
Bonus Points:
● Demonstrates ability and has a track record of finding, maintaining,
and growing executive-level relationships.
● Leadership qualities
● IT industry sales experience with a book of business $500,000 or
greater annually from at least 15 solid accounts.
Expected Schedule:
● Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
● Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

GCS offers a mix of salary and commission.
Base salaries range from $36-50K per year depending on your level of experience and whether or not
you bring a current book of business.
Commission rates vary based upon the type of products or services being sold. Estimated OTE will be $65K-$125K
for year 1 depending on your performance. Commissions are uncapped!
