Regal Marine Industries, Inc. is seeking a motivated self-starter with a great attitude to join our team as a CNC Operator. The CNC Operator operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. The CNC Operator loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Assists in other work areas as needed.
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree OR completion of related apprenticeship program preferred.
Must have at least 3 years of experience as a CNC Operator using a 3-Axis machine.
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
Must be able to work a 10-hour shift standing, bending, and lifting.
Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the position.
