Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting in support of Workday with a specialization in the areas of Finance functions.

Qualifications:

Committed to the global missions and overall vision of Pioneers;
Must practice and support the relevant elements of the US Mobilization Base Manual;
2+ years experience supporting Finance functions;
2+ years Workday function and configuration experience with emphasis on Finance;
A focus on customer satisfaction, with strong interpersonal skills and responsiveness;
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and collaborate;
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines;
Must possess mature servant-leadership qualities especially in team building and cross functional support;
Must be able to give attention to detail that could impact results;
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex issues;
Ability to work largely undirected;
Must be willing to learn on an on-going basis;
Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated skills in the use of software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, etc.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate Workday Finance function configuration and support;
Collaborate with Finance team to identify and capture requirements for system/process changes;
Partner with internal IT team and external service providers to provide quality and timely support;
Participate in the review, testing and implementation of bi-annual Workday releases; determine impact, participate in regression testing for new system features and communication of changes/benefits to end users including planning, tracking, testing, and correspondence with functional teams;
Deploy new modules or features, make configuration changes to address business needs;
Migrate objects from Sandbox (SBX) environment to production environment after testing signoff from business partners;
Research and participate in Workday community to resolve issues where answers are unknown and implement those solutions;
Partner with Application Admins to model and configure security, especially for Finance functions;
Perform analysis into root cause of problems and resolve as appropriate.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
