Key Responsibilities

Perform roofing duties associated with:

- Hot applied systems
- Torch applied systems
- Cold process systems
- Installing felt paper
- Insulation pattern layout
- Operating roofing equipment

Layout a roof to incorporate needed slope and drainage
Install basic sheet metal flashings and trims
Track on site material inventory and communicate with foreman to ensure proper coverage
Lay out insulation for maximum use of material and install membranes per industry and manufacturer specifications
Completes all detail and finish work

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required

Experience
5+ years of commercial roofing experience required

Skills and Abilities

Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures
Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the day
Able to pass Pre-Employment Drug and Agility screening
Able to pass a government background check per project requirements
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Knowledge of basic roofing tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum 18 years of age

Working Conditions | Environment | Special Requirements

Full time onsite

Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
