The position develops and implements a process to identify business analytic needs, specifically, insights into predictive and prescriptive data. The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess process, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to stakeholders.

Collaborates with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements for data forecasting.
Creates detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the organization.
Supports company scorecard that is reviewed weekly by executive team and regularly with both the Board of Directors and staff, specifically for forecasting.
Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing solutions.
Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies for organizational learning.
Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities in business intelligence.
Represent CSCF in the community and internally as a presenter of visualized data and forecasting insights.

Bachelor's Degree from an *accredited institution in business administration, statistics, or a related subject; supplemented by four (4) years’ experience in analytics; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
Advanced degree in related area from an accredited institution; Certified Business Intelligence Professional, Certification of Competency in Business Analysis, Google Data Analytics Certification, Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, Project management, Six Sigma, experience in workforce and/or economic development, or Workforce Professional Certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
High aptitude in data analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication.
Proven capabilities in project and user-testing management
Adept at queries
Technical knowledge of
Database management and reporting
Creating database reporting
Data visualization, software, and presentation
Debugging, removing corrupted data, and fixing related problems.
BI software and automated tools
Monitoring data quality
Proficiency in Microsoft platforms such as Excel and Power BI.
Design thinking and critical thinking
Systematic and logical approach to problem solving
Team working skills
Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines
Tasks involve light physical effort (i.e., some standing and walking, or frequent light lifting of less than 10 pounds); and minimal dexterity in the use of fingers and limbs in the operating of office equipment. Tasks may involve extended periods of time sitting at a workstation and utilizing a keyboard.
Tasks are regularly performed inside without potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, fumes and/or poor ventilation, wetness, humidity, rain, temperature and noise extremes, machinery and/or moving vehicles, vibrations, electric currents, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, gases or chemicals, oils and other cutting fluids, violence and/or disease, or pathogenic substances.
Some tasks require manual dexterity. Some tasks require visual and hearing acuity. Tasks may involve identifying and distinguishing colors. Tasks require oral communications ability.
