Status: Part-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly (October 23-January 9, 2023)

Starting Wage: $11.50/hr - Plus Commissions

Summary of Duties The employee will be responsible for operating a cash register while strictly adhering to Gatorland’s Cash Handling Policy.

The employee will also be responsible for the neatness of their designated areas while promoting great customer service and our company’s mission statement of “providing fun, smiles and special memories to all of our guests.”

Primary Duties:

Provide excellent customer service
Operate cash register
Accuracy in cash handling
Maintain neatness of areas by cleaning and organizing
Ability to conduct accurate inventory and transfer and restock merchandise to other areas as needed
Able to work in all other areas of retail and admissions throughout the park
Performs other duties as requested

Education, experience and specialized skills and knowledge requirements:

Must be 18 years or older. Retail experience a plus. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have cash handling experience. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to transfer and lift 30 lbs. Must be able to communicate well with others. Must be available for all shifts to include working on weekends and holidays.
