We are the Orlando International Airport! The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) operates OIA and the Orlando Executive Airport. POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist in the planning, designing, developing, facilitating, and delivering various employee engagement and enrichment programs to improve the onboarding process, employee workplace performance and employee engagement aligning all initiatives with the organization’s strategic plan.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field, and three (3) years progressively responsible experience in training, employee engagement, organizational development, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
One of the following certifications is required or an equivalent certification: E-Learning Design and Development, Engagement & Performance Certification, Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), the Certified Learning Professional (CLP). Experience working for a Florida public sector entity and knowledge of e-learning building content is desired.
Thorough knowledge of principles, and practices of training methodologies and techniques.
Considerable knowledge in methods to identify training needs, reporting and evaluating results of needs assessment, and analyzing performance problems.
Ability to exercise judgement, make decisions, establish professional contacts, and organize time with minimal supervision.
Ability to conduct research, organize, analyze data, formulate recommendations, and create and promote programs.
Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and facilitate employee engagement programs
Strong presentation and coaching skills
Knowledge of Talent Management systems to include LMS and Succession Planning modules.
Ability to speak clearly, distinctly and effectively and able to communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates in positive constructive manner
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Multilingual skills a plus.
Strong administrative, planning and analytical skills.
Ability to work on several projects at once, and to plan and organize wide variety of activities.
Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy at all times while interacting with the public and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority management and employees.
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, video conferencing software and eLearning authoring tools.
