3.0 OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, the Line Inspector, will conduct timely audits on received, in process and finished goods. Compile and document the daily quality production report, and assist with trouble shooting techniques, continuous improvement and any issues that may arise.
4.0 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1 Conduct finished goods inspections at the end of the assembly line.
4.2 Conduct In Process, First Article & Finished Goods Warehouse Auditing
4.3 Collect, segregate and report on nonconforming material & products.
4.4 Audit special units as required
4.5 Write reports and summaries on all activities
4.6 Other duties as assigned
4.1 Records defects on a reject tag that is attached to the unit and return to production for repair.
4.2 Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems.
4.3 Devises test equipment set up to evaluate performance and operation of non-standard or customer returned units.
4.4 Verifies physical properties and size of material and work produced by machines.
4.5 Examines finished product for quality characteristics such as rough edges, cracks and appearance flaws.
4.6 Mark parts for acceptance or rejection.
4.7 Write reports and summaries on all activities.
4.8 Other duties as assigned. To include: Work on line as directed by manufacturing need when tester duties are completed or slow.

6.1 HS Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years quality assurance inspection and auditing experience (refrigeration/electrical components preferred.)
6.2 Microsoft Office required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
6.3 Familiarity with inspection techniques and tools
6.4 Ability to read and understand basic electric diagrams and schematics.
6.5 Ability to read and understand a bill of materials.
6.6 Knowledge of basic operation of electrical components.
