3.0 OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Piper assembles the pipes in the units.
4.0 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1 Learning piping system in unit by assessing the distance between individual components and spacing required
4.2 Learning to lay out pipes as needed per unit
4.3 Follows direction from Piper III and/or Line Lead
4.4 Properly bends pipes as needed
4.5 Brazes joints
5.0 REQUIRED EDUCATION:
5.1 High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
6.0 PRINCIPLE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
6.1 Piping Lead
6.2 Production Supervisor I
6.3 Other production staff
7.1 Prior piping (HVAC/Refrigeration) experience is preferred
7.2 Prior brazing experience preferred
7.3 Proficient in use of measuring tools, drills, and saws
7.4 Good basic math skills
7.5 The ability to be trained in other areas
7.6 Must always be able to follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
7.7 Ability to follow the work schedule, based on production and business needs
