Westminster Towers is a large upscale Active Living Community and Health Center located just south of downtown Orlando. We are a church related, not-for-profit community service organization dedicated and committed to providing services for older adults and persons with special needs by creating and administering excellent residential and health care facilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
RESPONSIBLE FOR POSTING CASH AND ACCOUNTS PAYBALE TRANSACTIONS. INCLUDES ENTERING ALL ANCILLARY CHARGES. REVIEW AND PROCESS INVOICES, THIS INCLUDES: CHECKING THEM FOR ACCURACY, CONTACTING VENDORS TO CLARIFY PRICING, DESCRIPTIONS, OR QUESTIONS REGARDING COMMUNITY RELATED INVOICES.
RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE, INVOICING AND COLLECTIONS FOR COMMERCIAL INSURANCE COMPANIES. FOLLOW UP WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES TO ENSURE TIMELY PAYMENT.
ASSIST THE BOM WITH PROCESSING PAYROLL ON A BI-WEEKLY BASIS. PROCESS PAYROLL REPORTS IN KRONOS AND ULTIPRO.
CONTACT INSURANCE COMPANIES TO VERIFY INSURANCE BENEFITS FOR MEDICARE SUPPLEMENTAL PLANS.
CHECK MEDICARE REMITTANCE ADVICES DAILY. PREPARE AND SEND INSURANCE CLAIMS TO CORRECT INSURANCE COMPANY WITHIN 24 HOURS.
OPEN AND DISTRIBUTE DAILY MAIL.
DATA ENTRY AND MONTHLY REPORTS AS REQUIRED BY THE BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
HIGH SCHOOL –OR- EQUIVALENT
2 YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE
EXCEL AND DATE ENTRY SKILLS
MICROSOFT OFFICE KNOWLEGE PREFERRED
