Book Group Customer Service Representative (PT)
Charisma Media’s Trade Sales department is seeking and individual who will provide outstanding, personalized service to our customers while answering phone calls, emails and correspondence. Provide oversight and support to the general operations and functions of the department as well as enthusiastic service to fellow in-house employees and outside sales representatives. Input orders accurately and process customer service paperwork in a detailed and timely manner.
Assist Sales Manager with a seasonal schedule for key accounts, providing information for each new season (Winter, Spring/Summer, Fall).
Mail out review copies and assist with mock-up requests for key accounts.
Ensure new and updated tip sheets are kept current on network and Google Drive; and
distribute to accounts that need manual communication
Provide back-up for order entry to Trade Sales Department.
Provide back-up to customer service on a daily basis, and during lunch hours.
Attendance keeper for the Trade Sales Department.
Prepare/send Assignment of Rights to authors as needed
Prepare/send pre-contract offer letters and contracts
Answer customer phone calls with a great attitude, returning voicemails, and replying to emails within 24 hours of receipt.
Process customer service requests, such as faxing invoices, address changes, emailing
accounting credit card payments.
Notify Customer Service Manager of any situations that may arise, and require handling beyond your scope of authority.
Provide assistance as needed to the Trade Sales Department.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma. Previous data entry and customer service experience a plus.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email, fax and white mail.
Understands basic grammar skills in regards to business correspondence.
Ability to type 40 words per minute; proficient in 10 key, data entry, and email.
Strong computer skills – Beneficial if proficient in Excel, Word, and the Internet.
Accurate data entry skills (has efficient 10-Key skills).
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, basic
Math skills – add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Outstanding positive, professional and service oriented attitude.
Great people skills. Works well with customers and other employees.
Respectful and supportive attitude toward authority.
Quick learner, diligent worker, and team player.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear for long periods of time. Must be able to listen and speak effectively on the phone. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
