Location:  Winter Park, FL

The HR Generalist will serve primarily as a Corporate Recruiter will partner with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the stores and departments to deliver the best talent to the organization.  The ability to nurture and develop relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going recruitment sources while continuously seeking out new avenues to attract talent is necessary.  Additionally, this person will have a general overall experience in on-boarding and a general understanding benefits, W/C and leaves of absence.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement initiatives for recruiting diverse talent for a multi-site organization

·       Partner with HR Director and Corporate/Store leadership to develop plans for key staffing initiatives

·       Identify creative marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers through social media and other avenues

·       Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly conveyed in the interview process while seeking feedback on the effectiveness to the recruiting efforts

·       Build strong relationships with hiring managers and the leadership teams

·       Actively source and participate in all recruiting-related activities

·       Serve as back-up for HR Manager, as needed

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

·       1 -2 years heavy recruiting experience for multi-site locations, recruitment agency background preferred

·       Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools

·       Have an understanding and working knowledge of labor law and employment law regulations

·       Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions

·       Possess a strong attention to detail and strong time-management skills

·       Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally, at all levels within the organization and have strong interpersonal skills

·       Experience in utilizing social media to recruit and attract qualified candidates

Requirements:

·       Must possess a valid driver’s license, meet company insurability standards, and have reliable transportation

·       Successful completion of a drug screen and background check

Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience
SHRM Certification preferred, not required
