The Role
The Director, Facilities & Security will serve as the senior leader providing direction for the facilities, fulfillment, and security departments at CCM. Reports to the Senior Director, Administration & Logistics and will be responsible for supervising a team of employees.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for managing all aspects of health and safety, facilities management, and inventory control for all materials and products needed to meet business requirements and objectives.
Develop, implement, and enforce safety regulations in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and federal, state, local laws and ordinances.
Manage, prioritize, and assign the responsibilities of the Fulfillment operations.
Manage ministry-wide Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Program.
Oversee physical safety and security of the facilities/property and people – employees, vendors, contractors, shippers, and visitors.
Monitor the areas of organizational risk and compliance as it relates to disaster recovery planning and workplace safety.
Oversee the planning and assessment of fire drills, and training for employees in work site safety practices and other evacuation procedures, e.g. in the case of a bomb threat and as part of the Emergency Plan and Business Continuity teams.
Ensure compliance with, and implementation of, all CCM policies and procedures that impact the delivery of effective Health and Safety systems, including Data Protection and Retention.
Conduct safety surveys and inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where indicated and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Coordinate and collaborate with Leadership Team on the operational needs of CCM
Coordinates with Office of Procurement on the bidding, selection, and contracting processes and monitors the daily performance of all contractors providing services; ensuring that proper administrative procedures, approval processes, and documentation are followed and quality standards are met.

Education and/or Experience
The Director of Facilities & Security must have a strong educational background to include a Bachelor’s Degree in one of these fields: Business Administration, Management, Economics and or closely related field with 7+ years’ experience in project management. The Director must also have 7+ years’ experience in facilities management, logistics, and health and safety. CCM prefers applicants have 3 - 5 years of previous experience in supervising and coordinating a team. In addition to having a personal relationship with God, experience is the most important aspect taken into consideration for this position.
