The Role

Provider Community Services serves the community of providers that work with Medi-Share. This position assists in the responsibility for planning and building this community. The Manager oversees the daily operations of the department. They need to be able to develop & maintain relationships with team members, providers, and all departments. They are required to build rapport with providers and vendors through verbal and written communication.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in building a provider network
Ensures accountability – holding self and others accountable to meet department and ministry goals
Collaborate with leadership for 1, 3, and 5 year goals
Assist in training with new employees and current team members
Meet with team and follow up with documentation
Keep updated provider contact information and summaries of calls and visits
Plan and allocate resources to accomplish the work to achieve departmental productivity and quality goals
Plan, evaluate, and organize to improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, and output
Communicate across all departments
All other duties as assigned

Essential Skills & Abilities

Collaboration with team members, other departments, and leadership
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to manage department and work effectively without supervision
Building a strong team atmosphere
Ability to build relationships across internal departments and external contacts
Effective communication verbally and written with the PCS team, various departments, medical and insurance community and providers

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business or closely related field with 3-5 years’ supervisory experience required
