Wyndham Destinations is seeking a Manager of Social Media Corporate Channels in Orlando, Florida who will support the corporate brand across all of our social media channels. This role involves partnering with various teams across the business, including Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, Talent Acquisition and interactions with Senior Leadership. A successful candidate must be professional in manner and demeanor, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a team environment. Deep knowledge of social media strategy, platforms and content development, including editorial calendars, content plans, and performance reports are a must. This job will be located at the Wyndham Destinations’ global headquarters in Orlando, FL
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop content and manage the corporate social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
Ensure approaches to the social media corporate channels are relevant to audiences, executive leadership and potential investors, and true to content strategies for each channel.
Build and maintain content calendar and plans based on internal message priorities and external trends.
Draft creative briefs and works with the Brand team and/or agencies to produce branded content
Establish and maintain key relationships at senior and other strategic levels within Wyndham Destinations
Develop and execute Social Media influencer strategy
Engage with stakeholders and users for planning and problem solving as needed
Tracks and reports (monthly and ad hoc) on social media insights to inform strategies and decision making in content development and campaigns.
Oversees the development of the social media contractor responsibilities.
Responsible for maintaining the overall owner and prospect Digital Communications plan.
Bachelor of Science / Arts degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications
Knowledge and skills
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media and networking platforms, and monitoring suite suppliers
Strong communication skills (public, social, media) executing both proactive and reactive strategies and campaigns; ability to work closely with business partners such as Corporate Communications, HR, Brand, PR, Digital Teams, IT, Database Management, Field teams, & other groups.
Executive presence and experience working with senior leadership
Research, writing and editing skills.
Ability to develop and implement projects / programs through ongoing teamwork
Self-starter with an interest in exploring new ways to drive activation and engagement effectively by using different tools and techniques in the online world
Must be highly organized with the ability to efficiently monitor multiple project deadlines
Must be able to report out performance KPIs, assess results and define recommendations and insights.
Experience with web analytic platforms such as Google Analytics.
Experience with CRM/Data segmentation & targeting.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members
Ability to build and leverage a strong network of peers and business and social media partners
Ability to think critically and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to identify potential issues and resolve them before they impact production timelines
Exceptional customer service / “happy to help” attitude
Desire and willingness to continuously learn
This position requires up to 10% travel
Requires strong understanding of digital and web technologies such as social marketing applications, email/marketing automations, and community/mobile solutions.
Deep understanding of Social Media platforms, capabilities and social media management tools
Ability to establish measurements and success metrics where none currently exist
Experience with Sprinklr, Sprout or equivalent social listening, moderation and publishing tools.
5-7 years of experience in brand management, communications & firm level marketing, digital platforms and social media; public company experience preferred
Experience implementing and managing social media strategies and ensuring adoption across stakeholders/business, required.
Experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, required. As well as platform specific ad tools.
Experience in analyzing content and campaign data for optimization and reporting, required.
Experience in community moderation, social listening and building workflows, required.
Experience in brand marketing, hospitality servicing, business to consumer marketing, and/or field marketing, preferred.
Experience with social listening and reporting tool such as Sprinklr, preferred.
