The hours for this position are 5:30 am – 4 pm, Monday through Thursday. This is an hourly (Non-Exempt) position, with an entry-level rate of pay starting between $13 - $15 per hour depending upon experience. Overtime may be required at times based on the needs of the business. There is an opportunity to earn a performance increase after 90 days of employment.
Performs mix and lay-up of fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto mold surface using various hand tools
Works with structural adhesives
Operates a variety of power tools including but not limited to scissors, drills, grinders, and overhead hoists
Wears protective equipment while working
Able to work in a hot and humid work environment for a 10-hour shift standing, bending, and reaching
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals.
Must demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience
Must be able to work well with teams and in close proximity to each other
Skills in fiberglass and resin preferred
Ability to pass a spirometry test
Attention to detail and precision while working with hand tools
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to follow all safety standards and procedures
Must adhere to all quality standards
