Do you love books? Have you ever wondered what the inside of the publishing process really looks like? Xulon Press in Maitland, FL—the nation’s largest on-demand digital publisher of books targeting the Christian audience—is currently seeking a full-time Production Typesetter.

Responsibilities include the typesetting/layout of book interiors, corrections to book interiors, image manipulation, and eBook conversion. We are searching for someone who is proactive and self-starting with experience with InDesign CC and Photoshop CC. Along with excellent written and verbal skills, our ideal candidate will have previous experience typesetting books. Candidate must be able to work in a team environment, and possess an overall drive to complete work on deadline.

This is a full-time position requiring the employee’s presence in the office.

Required Skills:

Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a demanding, goal-oriented environment
Must be organized, able to take direction, and pay close attention to detail
Have a positive attitude and a mindset for creative design
Bilingual is a plus but not required – Spanish and English

The following application experience is required:

Adobe InDesign CC
Adobe Photoshop CC
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
HTML and/or CSS experience a plus
