We are Professional Title Agents who set consistent standards for timely titling solutions so our customers can move on with their day. Our operations are primarily in Florida and Alabama, but we have customers throughout the United States.

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance/Accounting Assistant in our Orlando office.

This position assists the Chief Financial Officer/Financial Controller and finance department team members in the day-to-day tasks and is primarily responsible for making accurate calculations and accounting entries into various systems, and utilizing the appropriate processes for the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● General Ledger Accounting:

Provide financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts and preparing reports
Prepare journal entries and reconcile financial statement accounts to ensure data accuracy
Assist in performing month-end and year-end close processes and reconciliations. Timely report on discrepancies and errors
Assist with other office duties and projects as needed

● Cash Management:

Balance and reconcile prior day's cash receipts to closing reports
Daily update of supporting spreadsheets and reconciliations of related general ledger accounts
Enter bills and create invoices using provided templates
Manage and reconcile employee credit card charges and expense reports
Prepare customer refunds

● Accounts Receivable:

Maintain databases and spreadsheets
Prepare invoices and related supporting documents and files
Collect payment via ACH, Check, and other portals
Communicate with customers professionally via emails, mailings and telephone calls

● Accounts Payable:

Audit Payroll and Benefits reports and post related journal entries
Reconcile monthly expense reports to credit card statements and post related journal entries
Maintain databases and spreadsheets
Prepare supporting documents and files for customer advances
Ensure bills and advances are paid timely and recorded properly
Communicate with vendors and customers professionally
Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Performs all other duties as required and assigned by manager.

Requirements

Required Skills, Education and/or Work Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of applied, progressive experience in an accounting, finance or related role
Impeccable organization skills
Demonstrated familiarity with basic accounting practices
Strong experience with Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payables
Knowledge of enterprise accounting systems such as SBT Executive Series, Quickbooks Enterprise, Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
Advanced skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and multi-task
Attention to detail and well organized
Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
Ability to practice discretion and demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to operate under in pressure and facilitate a team-building culture
Ability to deliver effective, accurate results, and meet tight deadlines and targets
Demonstrate positivity, adaptability, and flexibility in a fast-paced, high growth environment

Preferred Skills, Education and/or Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
4 years of progressive Accounting or similar experience
Proficiency in enterprise accounting software
Experience generating and collecting invoices for multiple customers
Public Accounting experience a plus
