Program Manager
The Program Manager oversees the status of assigned projects and programs to ensure that the program goals are met by providing decision-making skills and solving project issues that have overall program impacts.

- Plan and execute the delivery of programs and projects assigned as well as activities in alignment with the customer’s requirements and in accordance with company standards and policies
- Develop and implement goals and benchmarks that aid in the achievement of successful outcomes for programs and projects
- Develop program evaluation frameworks to assess the strengths of certain programs and to identify areas that may require improvement
- Ensure that program activities comply with all relevant airworthiness standards
- Assist the Program Management Department (PM) with any additional program research and oversight as needed
- Communicate with other managers (internal and external) to ensure effective and efficient program delivery
- Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure that programs operate within the approved budget and are delivered on-time
Qualifications
Three to five years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and/or modifications (i.e. Fixed-wing and/or Rotorcraft, commercial and/or government)
Bachelor’s degree in a related subject preferred; minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent
Previous knowledge of program management preferred
Knowledge of client groups and/or issues related to the program areas
Previous knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and modifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and simple accounting software
Acceptable background check for required matters

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The Program Manager working conditions usually consist of an office environment, but the designated missions of Southeast Aerospace may sometimes take managers to non-standard workplace locations. The Program Manager works within a standard work week, but may be required to work some evening shifts and weekends to monitor program activities. There are no particular strenuous physical requirements for the Program Manager position; however certain environmental conditions that are associated with an office workspace may elevate certain sensory demands. These demands may range from eyestrain from computers for long periods of time to any noise and activity disturbances produced from an active office environment.
