Job Description
General Functions

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our PeopleSoft architecture and technologies. This includes performing updates and upgrades, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing solutions using PeopleCode and SQL. The role requires the ability to manage multiple and concurrent tasks for mission-critical projects. Responsibilities also include writing, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining applications/programs based on provided specifications. Additionally, the candidate will analyze client business needs and develop well-written recommendations based on best business practices, offering alternatives, costs, and time frames.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the IT Project Leader. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and achievement of desired results.

Representative Duties/Assignments

Develops, enhances, installs, and tests computer software applications based on specifications. Writes complex structured query language (SQL) queries.
Designs and develops complex databases.
Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
Analyses and troubleshoots application problems working with technical staff and customers.
Leads project team in small to medium size projects and coordinates team tasks with assistance of technical leads.
Analyses client's business needs and provides recommendations for automated solutions.
Monitors client systems for performance and efficiency.
Communicates and interacts with customer contacts and functions as a liaison to increase efficiency and functionality of software applications.
Provides on call support as needed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Documents applications, technical specifications and user manuals.
Maintains current technology expertise.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or closely related field and four years of recent progressively responsible programming and systems analysis experience. One year of experience must have included responsibility for project management and implementation.

Preferences

Experience with the PeopleSoft architecture and technologies. Perform updates and upgrades. Troubleshoot technical issues. Develop using Peoplecode and SQL. Strong critical thinking, technical knowledge, and organizational skills with attention to details. Ability to manage multiple and concurrent tasks for mission critical projects.

Salary Information

Pay Grade: 023 -- From $85,904.00 - $111,675.20 Annually
FLSA Status: Exempt
