The overall duty and responsibility of the Sales Professional is to carry out in-home appointments, present our products, produce and manage self generated appointments, cover showroom appointments when designated and represent Stinson Carpet One in an ethical manner while maintaining personal sales at or, preferably above, prescribed standard closing percentages. The flooring Sales Professional is responsible for the sales of various flooring materials to homeowners, builders, contractors, designers, architects and any other persons with flooring needs. The Sales Professional will prospect for new customers, work with new and existing customers to provide appropriate solutions based on budgets and desired materials, submit quotes and accurately complete the necessary paperwork to facilitate timely delivery.

•    Detailed Skills: A strong background in sales, preferably in-home and direct response. Knowledge in floor coverings is a plus but not necessary. Skills should include excellent communication skills both verbal and written, ability to plan and organize, and ability to pass a drug/alcohol and background check. Hours are M-F 8:30 am – 6pm with one weekday off, and Saturday 8:30 -5pm. Reliable transportation is a must.

Salary: Weekly salary plus monthly commission
