ASSISTANT - Litigation & Business Law Departments

We are looking for an Assistant to support and assist attorneys on our Litigation and Business Law teams at our Orlando office. .

Responsibilities include:

•    Coordination with Firm’s Docketing department to ensure proper and timely calendaring of deadlines, meetings, trials, depositions and hearings
•    Filing documents with the courts electronically or  in paper form
•    Creating and maintaining client files
•    Scheduling appointments
•    Making travel arrangements
•    Handling expense reimbursements
•    Transcribing, drafting, editing documents
•    Interacting with clients and other parties to obtain information and respond to their questions

Requirements include:

•    A minimum of 3 years’ legal secretarial experience (litigation experience, preferred) in a law firm or professional services environment
•    Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
•    Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize incoming/outgoing tasks and work effectively in a team environment
