Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving, inspecting and disposition of materials and parts as applicable that have been ordered from suppliers for use in building our product and supporting functions.
Requires being able to use different electrical and mechanical measurement equipment and as required inspection through magnification to verify items meet requirements specified in documents.
Reviews documentation on incoming goods to verify they meet applicable standards and regulations.
Use of computer systems to receive, move and identify product at different stages of the receiving and inspection process.
Assists in tracking incoming goods and supplier performance and reports findings to Director of Quality.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Familiar with computers and software (e.g. Windows, Excel)
Experience with different measurement techniques and equipment, both electrical and mechanical.
Experience in Receiving Inspection and Quality desired.
Associate’s diploma or equivalent experience required. Must have HS diploma or GED.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
Must be able to pass eye exam to meet customer requirements for inspectors
Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
