Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for inspecting product as applicable for final QA and/or in process QA inspection.
Requires being able to use different measurement equipment as required for electrical and mechanical inspection. Visual inspection through magnification to verify items meet requirements specified in work instruction documents.
Use of computer systems to disposition parts and hardware at different stages of the inspection process.
Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings as applicable to perform inspection duties.
Learn and understand manufacturing steps as required to perform in process inspections and audits of manufacturing processes.
Lift bins of parts for transport to and from inspection area.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Familiar with computers and software (e.g. Windows, Excel)
Experience with different measurement techniques and equipment, both electrical and mechanical.
Previous experience in Quality, Inspection, or Testing desired.
Associate’s diploma or equivalent experience required. Must have HS diploma or GED.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to pass eye exam to meet customer requirements for inspectors
Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
