This is a full-time position (not temp). We are seeking a 2nd Shift CDL Truck Driver to be responsible for transporting different types of goods from distribution centers to customer locations using a truck. The starting pay for this position is $26/hour.

What You'll Do:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
At least 20/40 vision with glasses or corrective lenses is required for a truck driving career.
Must have a vision of 70-degree field in each eye and good hearing ability to work as a truck driver.
Must be able to pass the physical required by regulations.
Be able to stand for at least an eight to twelve (8-12) hour period.
Be able to lift, carry, handle and grasp at least 35 - 50 lbs (Constantly)
Be able to push and pull a wheeled pallet jack or rack to move items weighing up to 400 lbs.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist up to 50 lbs (Occasionally)
Drop & Hook operation, movement of Refrigerated Trailers between production & Storage facilities here in Sanford, Fla and Daytona, Fla, also fueling these trailers when needed. (On-Site Fuel)
Experienced in the operation of Refrigeration Units (Carrier & Thermo-King)
No Touch Freight.

What We Need from You:

High School Diploma or GED
At least 2-year driving experience required.
Commercial Drivers License (Current)
Clean driving record.
Current DOT Physical.
Yearly DOT drug screen.
Able to lift product in cases as needed (max 50lbs)
Able and knowledgeable regarding fueling of trucks and trailers
