Reporting Relationship: Security Manager

Salary: $15.00 p.h., plus Vacation, PTO's, 401(K), Insurance Benefits, plus so much more!

Status: Full-time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Summary of Duties: Normal daily security patrols both on foot and by mechanical methods. Report any and all Security and Safety issues/incidents as prescribed by company and department policy and procedures

Primary Duties:

Patrol parking area and Gatorland property to provide guests and employees with a safe and secure environment to visit and work
To assist in company compliance with Local, State, Federal and Company rules and regulations
To make timely and accurate reports to manager, director and/or CEO regarding any and all incidents which happen on Gatorland property.
Excellent writing skills is a plus.
Act as the primary response person for all medical needs (First Aid/Injury) for all guests and employees.
Possess good communication skills & report writing skills.
Perform other duties as requested.
Be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.

Education, Experience, Specialized Skills, and Knowledge Requirements: High School graduate with current Class D Security License or having the ability to obtain proper Licensing. Must have a good driving record. Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and present a professional image. Must have the ability to deal effectively with stressful situations at the time of crisis to allow professional discharge of duties and job performance. EOE
