Job Description

The Advisor II, Technical Support position interfaces with customers via inbound calls, outbound calls, or through the Internet depending upon client requirements. This position provides the resolution of routine problems regarding client's products or services.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

The skills of interpersonal and cross-functional coordination in complex or high-volume situations

Technical competency / strong acquired knowledge on storage devices and different components such as motherboard, disk, power supply unit etc.

Ability to comprehend the dynamics of NetApp’s global support operations.

Ability to use multiple computer applications in a Windows environment and move from one application to another quickly and seamlessly.

Strong people skills, self-motivated, with a friendly and customer-centric attitude and the passion to solve client issues in an efficient and effective manner.

Comfortable speaking on the phone and creating a support ticket or moving the call to the appropriate resource.

Monitor an incoming queue to process a Part request which will be fulfilled by one of our logistic partners.

Processing a Field support order to one of our partners to dispatch a technician for a part replacement.

Managing a backlog of cases and following up with them to ensure that they are closed within program guidelines.

Monitoring and responding to incoming emails in a timely manner.

Ability to work independently and on special projects as required.
