General Job Description

Rough In
Measure, cut, and, pull wire to each device location
Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools
Install boxes
Trim Out - Switch and Plugging
Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals
Panel installations
Low Voltage Control
Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning
Supervise, lead, and train apprentices on your crew
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
Organize tools and supplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions of the electrician

Job Knowledge

Must have at least 3 years experience in Residential electrical new build and/or remodels
Experienced in operate hand tools/equipment
Experienced at troubleshooting electrical circuitry problems

Job Requirements

Valid Drivers License and ability to drive company truck to projects
Must have hand tools for the electrical trade
Work from all types of step ladders, frame ladders, and all-size extension ladder
Work in all elements of weather depending on job location, time of year (heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight)
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
