DEPARTMENT: READY 5 RESTORATION

SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager is responsible for partnering with multiple departments to drive measurable results that grow and benefit our business. The ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, drives lead generation, and strengthens client relationships. The candidate will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set READY 5 apart.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, execute, and oversee a strategy that prioritizes growth in both the commercial and residential markets.
• Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships to generate sales.
• Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about READY 5’s services.
• Maintain current client relationships, coordinate continuous contact and outreach efforts, and provide unmatched customer care and support.
• Evaluate business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating client needs with business operations.
• Assist in developing and managing creative assets, target audiences, marketing campaigns, social media interaction, website content, brand guidelines, and outreach strategies.
• Manage all public relations to deliver consistent and accurate information through a single channel.
• Coordinate crisis communication ensuring a timely and effective outreach to all affected areas.
• Identify, analyze, develop, and manage external partnership opportunities.
• Research industry trends to develop and/or improve revenue centers or operational processes.
• Gather and analyze client and market insights to provide value-add service and support, inform outreach strategies, increase lead conversions, and generate qualified leads.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure sales and profit goals are reasonable and achieved.
• Establish revenue targets and create budgets and forecasts.
• Collect and monitor financial metrics and results to present to management and/or ownership.
• Create documentation and train others on business development and sales best practices.
• Plan and attend internal and external company events.
• Attend industry, trade, and/or networking events at the discretion of management.
• Perform all other duties as required and assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in business development, sales, communications, or marketing preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple and concurrent responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products and marketing/social media/CRM tools.
• Ability to learn and utilize industry and/or company specific software.

QUALIFICATIONS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be proficient with the following: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must also be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
