Overview

We are currently seeking dynamic and well-qualified candidate for a Professional On-Call role in our Office of Professional Standards Division.

This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role in 2025.

Representative Duties

Gathers, verifies, and analyzes investigation reports. Contacts other agencies to obtain and verify information.
Conduct thorough and complete background investigations.
Formalize final reports and communicate results to Human Resources.
Learn the process for obtaining fingerprints for applicants.
Learn OPS scanning and filing systems.

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent and four years of reasonable clerical experience. College education from an accrediated institution my be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Must not have been convicted or plead no contest to a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude. An extensive background investigation will be conducted including polygraph examination.

Preferences

Experience in investigations or Human Resources.

Efficient in database research and report writing.

Prior experience with Clerk of Courts and or Law enforcement settings or systems.

Able to work on an on-call basis based on volume.

$20.00 hourly (Based on experience)

Educational Requirements

If your education was obtained in the United States, the County recognizes degrees or diplomas which are accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). If you have obtained education from a country other than the United States, your degree or diploma must be evaluated to determine the United States equivalency by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Service (NACES) or the Association of International Credentials Evaluations (AICE) at your expense.
