Supervised by Field Manager

Responsibilities:

Present a positive image to customers, co-workers, and others all the time.

Follow all service department and company policies and procedures.

Follow all company safety policies.

Attend training to improve knowledge of HVAC industries.

Ability to spot problems, i.e. contractors, relays, coils, over aping, devices, loads, transformers, motors, etc.

Electrical trouble shooting, reading diagrams both ladder, schematic and pictorial

Refrigerant circuits – Pressure temperature relationships, restrictions, pressure drops, etc

Refrigerant circuits – Heat pumps, air to water to air

Diagnosis of condensation drain line issues

Leaking detection both water and refrigerant.

Initial Start-up of Heating, electric, heat pump, gas systems

Thermostats – All types, programmable, non-programmable

Air Balance – Overall system adjustment, diagnosis

Must be EPA certified.

Zoning for residential homes

Must have basic hand tools in good condition to perform the above tasks.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Entry level position

Work Environment:

Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders. Must be comfortable working from heights (over 20 feet is common). Walking and lifting weight of 50 lbs or more are required in daily performance of job. Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling and material handling. Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting and squatting. EOE/DFWP
