Nature of Work

Performs responsible administrative work related to the Extra Duty employment program. An employee assigned to this position is responsible for coordinating, and monitoring extra duty employment, working with prospective individuals and organizations providing program information to staff for events with public safety personnel. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established procedures and reviewed while in process and results obtained.

Minimum Requirements

Associate's degree required and one (1) year of experience of data entry and data tracking required or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience with generating reports, negotiating contracts and event planning preferred. A valid Florida driver's license is required. Must pass police background investigation which includes a polygraph examination.

May be required to become a Public Notary.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;

Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
